Craft Fair

BC ArBC Artists started out as Lets Shall ; Our Etsy Shop for myself and my siblings. We all loved Etsy but, it wasn't exactly what we wanted so my sister started her own shop, Feather & Whimsy, and the rest of us continued with Lets Shall.

 

As time went on I was attending more and more craft fairs and really liked what I was seeing. So, I talked to my family and proposed my plan: start a craft fair! I needed a name and as the intention was to promote locals, I decided on 'BCArtists '. Last year we had our first craft fair and I have to admit it wasn't the greatest. I learned a lot from last year and have since done extensive research. My goal for 2014 and the future is to host at least two craft fairs a year.

 

BC Artists is an avid supporter of the community and local charities. Every year we choose a charity to support and have a donation box at the entrance. We also respect our environment and have composting and recycling boxes at all of our events.

 

I myself am a creative person and have so many ideas. I love to design and plan, but have a hard time letting go of my own finished products. This is what prompted me to start BC Artists, creating an outlet to help others share their amazing products and creations.

 

My siblings and I grew up in both Squamish and North Vancouver, with our family calling the North Shore home for over 90 years! This place is important to us and we want to promote the talent that is here as well as protecting the unique environment we live in.
